Elizabeth Borcherding

Senior Interior Designer

Elizabeth brings positive energy and curiosity to every team she’s on. While content to “hunker down” and work on the details, she’s just as likely to light-up about going “out into the world” meeting with clients, consultants, or contractors. To her, being a designer offers the opportunity to constantly learn: about people, about their workplace or business, by listening to their wants and needs, by bringing all sorts of perspectives into the conversation … Every project has the potential to be an adventure.

Her career – just over a decade now – has been rooted in the Indianapolis area. In that time, she has grown fond of the design and construction industry with its many interesting facets and its array of professionals working in concert. Elizabeth is a lifelong Hoosier and a graduate of Ball State University’s Interior Design program. She now serves on the program’s advisory board as well as participating in IIDA as a professional member.

Away from the office, you’ll most likely find Elizabeth tag-teaming with her husband to keep up with their toddler, who could easily spend all day trousing around their yard or coloring whatever’s in reach. If she manages a break though, she might be watching a movie, taking a walk, or chipping away at some half-finished craft or home project.
