Ed Richburg is a Senior Architect with more than 40 years of experience in the practice of Architecture. He is an accredited professional with the US Green Building Council and is registered in 13 states. His extensive experience ranges from corporate office building campuses, high and low rise office buildings, senior living homes, major convention hotels, high and low rise condominiums, prefabricated manufactured housing, residential housing, advanced technology fabrication facilities, banking, college high school elementary and preschool educational facilities, university master planning, transportation projects, and coastal restoration projects. Ed is experienced in contract administration, project management, construction management, construction administration, specification writing, sustainable design, and materials technologies.
Ed studied Civil Engineering at SMU is Dallas and received his Architectural degree from the University of Texas in Austin in 1972, but he has been involved in construction for 50 years, having worked as a carpenter on commercial and residential projects in high school and college. Continual process improvement and a never ending attention to detail are Ed’s driving philosophies. He believes in using technology to improve design & construction and that a built sustainable environment should be a primary common goal of our society.
